JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We are now seeking a creative employee for the daily activities program at Multihuset. Here you will have the opportunity to work together with your colleagues to influence and create a safe and meaningful occupation for people with disabilities. As a support assistant, you will work closely with people with various disabilities. You will support them in their daily lives and help them develop skills. We also work with creative tasks such as crafts, art, health and wellness, and sensory stimulation via VR glasses. Multihuset also operates the staff cafeteria at the municipal building. In your work, you will plan and implement activities with participants both in groups and individually. Together you will create a positive environment for meaningful and developing occupation and enjoyable social interaction. You will work in a supportive, training, and motivating manner to guide and help participants work toward their individual goals. The work requires that you are good at motivating and inspiring as well as finding creative solutions. We work with the individual's needs at the center and to ensure that our participants are involved and have influence over their daily activities. Some personal care may occur. On a few occasions, we have evening hours for our participants. Your duties include providing users with individual support in daily activities by working in a clarifying manner, giving users predictability, and creating structure in their activities. Stimulate participation in leisure and cultural activities and engagement in society according to users' individually set goals. This so they can be as independent as possible. Examples of work tasks that occur are assisting with cleaning, cooking, personal hygiene, and medication management. Your role also includes planning, developing implementation plans, documenting, conducting regular evaluations, and contributing to maintaining good quality in the activities. Cooperate with parents, relatives, and guardians as well as other stakeholders both internally and externally. QUALIFICATIONS We are seeking an employee who has experience with low-intensity interactions, has great patience, and can work both individually and in groups. You understand how important it is that each individual is involved and has influence over their daily activities. You need to have a complete upper secondary education, preferably in the Care and Health program with a specialization in disability or the Child and Leisure program with a vocational qualification in support and service in the disability field (social work). You need to have experience working in daily activities programs, LSS accommodations, personal assistance, or service housing. It is a requirement that you can work methodically according to established procedures and that you have professional conduct and can work with low-intensity interactions and mapping of challenging behavior. You are well-acquainted with using alternative communication methods, such as visual supports and social stories, and have a strong interest in learning new things. We expect good teamwork skills where you can easily collaborate with colleagues as well as with other professionals around the user, and find it inspiring to work with people with disabilities. If you have experience in daily activities with activities such as crafts, music/media, art, and health/wellness, we consider this a merit. We place great emphasis on personal suitability.
