Machinery and Vehicle Repair Technician

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES We're looking for someone with the right knowledge, experience, and interest to help develop our workshop and contribute to excellent vehicle management of the municipality's fleet, which consists of approximately 160 cars, of which 38% are electric vehicles, as well as the machinery we use for maintaining our outdoor environments, transportation, and snow removal. As a vehicle repair technician with us, you will be responsible, together with other repair technicians and skilled workers, for ongoing operation, troubleshooting, and repair of our vehicles and machinery. You will have significant customer contact and will provide support to ensure our customers feel confident with their vehicles, which are also their work tools. QUALIFICATIONS We're looking for someone who has completed upper secondary education with a focus on vehicle technology and has professional experience working with a varied fleet of vehicles, both new and older ones. You must have experience professionally working with operational and vehicle systems for diagnostics and documentation. The person we're seeking is orderly and well-organized with the ability to handle intensive work periods. Along with your professional skills, we highly value your personal qualities. We're looking for a good team member with strong collaboration and problem-solving abilities. We would prefer if you have experience working with professional machinery, as we manage the municipality's work vehicles, tractors, lawn mowers, and garbage trucks. You naturally have a driver's license with at least category B. We view category BE and C as advantageous. Two independent references are required. A trial employment period may apply.
