Description of the Position as Matilda's Personal Assistant Matilda is a 25-year-old woman with Rett Syndrome who lives in her own apartment with round-the-clock assistance (with on-call support at night). Matilda enjoys music, reading, films, and spending time with family and friends. She is normally an active person who loves exercise, dancing, swimming, traveling, and going to concerts, but due to pain-related issues, she currently sometimes needs support at a slower pace. You will become part of a wonderful team of assistants who will welcome you into the group and provide you with secure and safe onboarding/training. As Matilda's personal assistant, you will become an important part of her everyday life. You will: Assist with all ADL (personal hygiene, dressing and undressing, mealtimes, and more). Support her in activities and with certain mobility assistance. Read her body language and facial expressions (as she does not speak, but has much to communicate).
