Our patients are cared for together with their guardian(s), and the goal of the inpatient stay is primarily to stabilize the acute poor condition so that they can then return home and continue their care in outpatient services. Work Tasks As a curator on the ward, you participate in daily planning for our patients and participate in/conduct assessment and planning conversations with them. About the Position We are seeking industrial workers for both ongoing and upcoming assignments with our client in Piteå. Work tasks can vary and encompass several different operations depending on the department. The positions involve work in logistics or production, where precision, responsibility, and a strong sense of quality are essential. In the logistics department, you will perform tasks such as forklift operation, goods handling, and packing and sorting of components. In production, you are responsible for setting up, monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting production equipment. The work also includes ensuring high product quality by identifying and addressing any deviations. Overhead bridge crane operation is also part of the job duties. This is a full-time consulting assignment with a 6-month probationary period, but with the possibility of a permanent position for the right person. Working hours are scheduled in shifts. Common shift patterns are 3-shift, 4-shift, and 5-shift rotations. Day shifts may also occur, for example during the training period. The team consists of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and nurses who collaborate with patients, patient-close staff, educational developers, unit managers, and other stakeholders to achieve the intentions of LSS. We provide operational support at various levels. At the individual level, we work to increase participation and self-determination. We adapt and clarify daily life for the individual. At the unit level, we work with coaching on meeting and treatment issues, support and adaptation in activities, and at a more overarching level, we develop competence enhancement in the LSS area for staff groups. As an occupational therapist, you are part of the educational support in methods and activities at all levels. The municipal health and medical care assignment is directed at people over 20 years of age with disabilities who have LSS services. The area covers both special and regular housing as well as day-time activities. Your work includes coaching for staff, relatives, and users, assessment/fitting and prescription of assistive devices. You also conduct ADL and functional assessments and write certificates for, for example, housing adaptations. We have close collaboration with Medelpunkten, a well-functioning assistive device center with high expertise in assistive device provision. As a prescriber, you will have access to expert support, regular training, technical advice, and a broad range of assistive devices.
