The Disability Services operation carries out all measures regulated by the LSS (Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities), which include, among other things, special housing and daily activities as well as personal assistance. Does this sound interesting? We warmly welcome your application! 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES We are looking for a case handler to work with investigation and follow-up of measures under LSS and SoL. The work as a case handler with us involves investigating needs and making decisions on measures for people with various disabilities, both adults and children. The work involves many contact points with individuals seeking measures as well as collaboration with partners both internally and externally. The unit currently consists of six LSS case handlers who work with investigation of LSS measures as well as certain measures under the Social Services Act, one senior LSS case handler, two social workers who work with implementing measures for contact person, support family, companion service and respite care service. We also have three administrators who work with administration within personal assistance, sick leave applications, and other administration within the operation. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, law, or another education that the employer considers equivalent. Previous work experience in public administration is highly meritorious. Furthermore, you have good computer skills and are a communicative person who finds it easy to express yourself in Swedish both verbally and in writing, and can adapt the information according to the people you meet in your work. Your ability to collaborate with both internal and external parties is of great importance. You take responsibility, have good teamwork skills, and contribute to the work group with your experience and ideas. We also want you to enjoy challenges and problem-solving, which requires flexibility. As a person, you are analytical, recognize the importance of good treatment, and are open to change. You can work independently and have the ability to structure and prioritize your work tasks. We place great emphasis on personal suitability, where you should have a professional approach and handle difficult conversations and decisions in a respectful manner.
