Tire Technician at Däckia in Uppsala

We are now recruiting several tire technicians for the fall tire change season at our workshop in Uppsala. You will work in the workshop receiving customers and their vehicles to change from summer to winter tires. Washing and storing tires will also be a large part of your work. We are looking for you who have previously worked with tires and wheels at a tire workshop and can get started for the fall tire season. The season runs from the end of September for approximately 6-8 weeks. As part of a small Quality & Regulatory team, the successful candidate will take ownership of day-to-day quality and regulatory activities across the product lifecycle. The position is full-time. Start date: September 1, 2026, or by agreement. Location: Uppsala Doctoral candidates employed through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie program receive compensation in accordance with the program's rules for doctoral candidates during the grant period (36 months). This means that the gross salary (i.e., after deduction of employer contributions but including income tax) is approximately 37,000 SEK per month, depending on exchange rate (excluding any family allowance). The employed person's national and local taxes will be deducted from this gross salary before the net salary is paid to the doctoral candidate. At the end of the project, an additional salary payment may be made if the average exchange rate during the entire project is higher than the calculated exchange rate.
