The Department of Archaeology, Ancient History and Conservation, Uppsala University, is seeking an Assistant Professor in Archaeology with placement at Campus Gotland in Visby. The position involves being part of a dynamic and expanding research environment with close to one hundred employees in both Visby and Uppsala. The combined departmental environment includes seven main subject areas with teaching at undergraduate, advanced, and doctoral levels: Ancient Culture and Society, Archaeology, Assyriology, Egyptology, Conservation, Osteology, and Global Environmental History. We are now looking for two dedicated and meticulous janitorial staff to join our team in Uppsala. In this role, you will work with stairwell cleaning and maintenance of common areas in residential properties and commercial facilities throughout Uppsala. The positions are full-time at 100% and part-time at 75% with fixed working hours, primarily during daytime on weekdays. We are looking for someone who meets the following requirements: Education: You have a certified cleaning education, such as an SRY vocational certificate, PRYL or equivalent documented janitorial training. Machine experience: You have experience operating small cleaning machines (e.g. combination scrubbers). Driver's license: You have a Class B driver's license (required to operate service vehicles between properties). Language: You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written, for communication with residents and safety instructions. Physical condition: You are in good physical condition as the work involves a lot of stair climbing and heavy lifting. Cleaning Professional for Construction and Move-Out Cleaning

In this role, you will primarily work with rough and fine cleaning after construction projects (construction cleaning) as well as thorough move-out cleaning of residential units and commercial spaces throughout Uppsala. We are starting the employment as an on-call hourly position based on demand, which works perfectly if you want to start flexibly during weekdays. For the right person who shows initiative, there are excellent opportunities for the position to transition into a stable part-time employment at 50%. Your Responsibilities Construction Cleaning: Rough cleaning, removal of construction dust, paint splatters, and fine cleaning in preparation for handover of newly built or renovated spaces. Move-out Cleaning: Complete cleaning of kitchens, bathrooms, window washing, and all surfaces in vacant residential units according to applicable guidelines. Handling of professional cleaning equipment, machinery, and environmentally-friendly cleaning products. What We Are Looking For: Education: You have approved cleaning training, for example an SRY professional certificate, PRYL, or equivalent documented cleaning professional training. Experience: You have previous experience with move-out cleaning, construction cleaning, or other professional facility maintenance. Quality-Conscious: You are extremely thorough and efficient as move-out and construction cleaning require an eye for detail.
