Engineering Manager with Focus on Integrations, Data, and AI!
We are seeking an Engineering Manager who wants to take full responsibility for architecture, integrations, and AI-driven automation in a company with a clear purpose and fast pace. You work closely with the business and leadership, drive technical decisions, and see the results of your work in daily operations. You will be part of a growing company within the KEYTO Group. This is a role for you if you thrive in a focused company with short decision-making paths, where you have genuine technical ownership. You take responsibility for the entire tech delivery, drive AI solutions toward business systems, and lead a team with one developer forward — all within a company where technology makes a real difference in daily operations. About the Role You take a central role in shaping the company's technical direction from the ground up. Our core is built on Podio as a CRM system and an ecosystem of integrations toward invoicing, accounting, payroll, and communication systems — while we drive a growing initiative in AI and automation. You work closely with leadership and will also have dialogue with the group's other IT organization on strategic tech matters. Concretely, this means you: - Own and work operatively across the entire tech delivery: architecture, integrations, automation, and AI from idea to production - Drive and deliver customized AI solutions toward our business systems - Take personnel responsibility for and lead the team consisting of one developer - Develop and maintain a technical development plan in consultation with the leadership team - Take responsibility for security, operations, permissions, and data storage at the system level - Map and document the system landscape — how everything connects, where data flows, and why - Ensure quality through code review, architecture principles, and established practices - Identify where technology creates the greatest business value and solve those problems - Ensure high quality in technical solutions and deliveries Our office is located in central Stockholm and you report directly to the CEO. Your Background We believe you have 3-5 years of experience as a developer, or alternatively a background as a consultant who now wants to go in-house and own something long-term. We want you to be self-driven, to have seen more than one system, and to be able to take technical leadership from day one. We would like to see that you have: - Experience building and maintaining API integrations between different SaaS systems - Experience owning a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar) — not just managing code but taking responsibility for infrastructure, security, and operations - Good understanding of data modeling and databases - Practical experience with modern AI tools in development or a genuine drive to learn for real - Strong system architecture competence — can think in modules, interfaces, and scalability - Experience with business systems (CRM, accounting systems, payroll, telephony) or ability to quickly get up to speed in such environments - Ability to communicate and document in Swedish Merit factors: - Experience with Podio, GlobiFlow/Procfu, or similar low-code platforms as core systems - Previously worked with staffing, HR, accounting, or CRM systems (e.g., Fortnox, Visma, Quinyx, HubSpot) - Experience evaluating and migrating core systems - Hands-on with LLMs like Claude, Claude Code, MCP servers, or equivalent AI development tools - Previous leadership or mentor role or equivalent responsibility for a developer's daily work Who We Are Looking For We are looking for you who genuinely passion for solving everyday problems with technology and seeing the business value of what you build. You seek understanding before you seek solutions, and you see clearly the connection between what you build and the value it creates for the business. You have a natural ability to communicate with people regardless of technical background and can support and lead a developer in daily work. You enjoy delivering things that are actually used, not building elegant systems that no one touches. You want to be close to decisions, close to the business, and see the results of your work in the operation every week. Finance Manager Nordics
Do you know what Jira and Confluence are, or have you at least heard of them? Communardo is a German company that helps other businesses work smarter with exactly these kinds of tools. We are specialists in what is usually called digital transformation: we help our customers build better working methods, modernize their software development and get their knowledge management in order, and in recent years increasingly with AI as part of the solution. It ranges from strategic consulting to implementing systems and then remaining as support. Communardo has existed for 25 years and five years ago we were acquired by a private equity company. Since then, the journey has been fast and acquisitions in Sweden, Finland, Denmark and Norway have meant that the Nordic operations, following the acquisition of Swedish Stretch Addera among others, has grown to around 100 employees, with offices in, for example, Stockholm, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Oslo and Karlstad. The head office is located in Dresden and in addition to the Nordic region and Germany there are operations in the Netherlands, Austria, Switzerland as well as offshore teams in Morocco and Albania. Now we are looking for you who want to be part of building the finance function of the future at Communardo Nordics. What do you do in this role? You become Finance Manager for the Nordic region and report to Mathias Carling, who leads the Nordic operations, with functional dialogue with Maximilian Schmidt, CFO of Communardo Group. This is not a role where you sit and do bookkeeping, although you must know your accounting, but rather a role where you are a sounding board for management, ensure that the numbers add up and help regional managers in Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark understand and act on their finances. You will also be involved in driving projects. Everything from tax issues and process improvements to system issues, and you will be an important link to our external accounting providers and advisors. Some examples of what you will do: Hold monthly reconciliations and follow-ups with the regional managers Own budgets, forecasts and ongoing reporting to the group Drive improvement projects, such as incentive models, and be a natural conversation partner on financial matters Who are you? You have worked a number of years within finance, with emphasis on business partnering, FP&A or controlling. You are not afraid of accounting either; you need to have a firm grasp of the processes there as well. You enjoy working independently, you like explaining things so they become understandable, and you have a knack for building relationships with people whose main focus is not finance. You speak and write excellent English. Swedish or another Nordic language is important for you to handle. Why should you choose us? Here you get a combination of high ambitions, but without prestige and stress. We have just laid the foundation, integrations are underway as well as systems. Now it is about building further and setting structures. You get the chance to shape the finance function, in an international environment with close collaboration between the Nordic region and Germany. You will have your base in Stockholm or Karlstad, with flexibility regarding where you work. Does this sound like your next challenge? We look forward to hearing from you! You can read more about Communardo here: https://www.communardo.com/ In this recruitment, Communardo Nordics is collaborating with The Finance Family. If you have any questions, you are warmly welcome to contact one of us: Magnus Åberg, 070-981 77 51, [email protected] Maria Dahl, 0720-393840, [email protected] P.S. Selection is done on an ongoing basis and the position may be filled before the final application deadline, 2026-08-01, but it is fine to apply for the position as long as the ad is on The Finance Family's website.
