About the Workplace Ersta Hospital is part of Ersta Diakoni and is Sweden's largest mission-driven hospital with a clear value foundation – to see the whole person. With roots dating back to 1851, we have provided healthcare on Södermalm in Stockholm, but we accept patients from across the country. We are a university healthcare unit and conduct research, education, and development in collaboration with Karolinska Institute. We are growing to help more people, and since 2023, the hospital's capacity has tripled and eight new operations have been launched. On Postop/ICU, we work in teams with nursing assistants, intensive care nurses, physiotherapists, and physicians. We have space for both recovery, postoperative care, and three intensive care beds. About the Role As an intensive care nurse with us: you provide postoperative care following surgery you care for patients requiring intensive care you are part of our internal emergency response team around the clock you use bedside reporting according to SBAR where patients are actively involved. "Here I feel I'm doing a good job and have time for my patients. I don't use my intensive care expertise every day – but when it's needed, it's crucial," says Anna. Who Are You? Your Experience To be qualified for this position, you must be a licensed nurse with further education in intensive care or anesthesia and have experience working on an intensive care unit. It is meritorious if you have experience with surgical care and experience with development work. We view positively if you have worked with TakeCare and/or Orbit.
