We assist with new hires, temporary needs, and long-term assignments, while developing new approaches for the future of vocational education. We are now seeking vocational instructors with expertise in installation electrical work, industrial electrical work, distribution electrical work, or other electrical engineering fields. The role may involve both remote teaching and practical components at one of our schools or at companies. Placement is by agreement, and there is the opportunity to work from a Movant school, from home, or from an AcadeMedia office. As a vocational instructor with us, you'll share your knowledge, mentor participants, and help them develop both practical skills and theoretical understanding. We're Looking for You We're seeking someone with solid experience from the electrical industry who wants to take the next step into an educational role. You have a genuine interest in people, learning, and professional development. We'd like to see that you have: • Vocational certification in installation electrical work, industrial electrical work, distribution electrical work, or another electrical engineering trade • At least five years of professional experience in the electrical industry within the last ten years • Experience teaching or mentoring adults • The ability to adapt teaching to participants' different needs • Good pedagogical skills and experience explaining theory and practical components • Good digital literacy • The ability to travel for work when needed It's advantageous if you have a teaching license, other pedagogical experience, or expertise in high voltage and/or railway signaling systems.
