With us, we offer a safe meeting place where people can settle, participate, and grow. Through social community, activities, and individual support, we create conditions for increased self-esteem, independence, and participation in society. The facility offers, among other things, creative activities, kitchen operations, wellness activities, courses, group mentoring according to the 7/Twenty approach, and a focus on personal development and social interaction. At Activity House Valen, you work to create a welcoming, safe, and meaningful facility for our visitors. Your work includes: • Plan, implement, and develop activities based on visitors' interests and needs • Motivate and support participants in their personal development and path toward increased independence. • Build trusting relationships through professional and respectful interaction. • Provide information and guidance regarding social support and collaborating organizations. • Collaborate with psychiatry, the Employment Agency, the Social Insurance Agency, voluntary organizations, and other internal services such as financial assistance linked to individuals' activity requirements. • Contribute to the facility's development and quality work. • Work from a perspective where the individual's own resources and participation are central. You will be an important part in creating a facility where participants feel community, hope, and confidence in the future. Working hours are scheduled for weekdays. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who have a university degree or other post-secondary qualification with relevant focus for the target group, such as pedagogy or social work, or another focus that the employer deems relevant. You have experience meeting and supporting people with mental health challenges and feel comfortable working in a relationship-based manner with the individual's needs, resources, and possibilities in focus. Knowledge of mental health, low-arousal approaches, and motivational interviewing (MI) are merits, as is experience leading groups, planning activities, or working in employment and meeting place facilities. Training in mindfulness or 7-Twenty we also view positively. We are looking for a responsible person who is accustomed to meeting people in different stages of life. You have a salutogenic approach and work based on the individual's strengths, resources, and possibilities. We are looking for someone who wants to be part of and lead the operations and contribute to the work of developing and preserving Kalmar County's built cultural heritage.
