Location: Kalmar Start: Week 34 Assignment length: Fixed-term employment 6 months, with good opportunities for extension Work hours: Full-time, Monday-Friday 07:00-16:00 About the job as a sanitation technician As a sanitation technician at OCAB, you work with restoring environments after, for example, fire, water, and mold damage. You meet people in vulnerable situations and contribute with both your expertise and service mindset to create security and solutions. The work is practical and varied and is performed according to applicable regulations and instructions. Examples of work tasks: Sanitation after fire, water, and mold damage Graffiti removal and work with nicotine and oil damage Special sanitation of various kinds Personal property handling and cleaning operations Work related to property on-call services as needed Use of equipment, protective equipment, and digital tools Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is driven, takes responsibility, and enjoys physical work where no two days are the same. You are flexible, work well with others, and are comfortable meeting customers in different situations. Requirements for the position High school diploma or equivalent work experience Ability to use personal protective equipment and tools Good Swedish, spoken and written Basic digital proficiency Driver's license category B You also have a desire to develop and learn new work tasks, as some assignments require training and certification.
