Dietitian at the Outpatient Clinic at Torsby Hospital
We are now recruiting a dietitian for the Outpatient Clinic at Torsby Hospital!
Your Workplace
Torsby Hospital is a pleasant workplace with several advantages, including proximity, short decision-making paths, efficiency, accessibility, and quality. The Outpatient Clinic houses all scheduled specialist clinics as well as a mobile team, and we have approximately 40 employees.
A strong sense of team spirit is constantly present at Torsby Hospital, and all units play a central role in working with and around our patients. We are a small hospital in northern Värmland with a big heart and commitment to our patients and staff, where all units and partner organizations are an important part of the hub that ensures work flows smoothly and safely for those who visit us.
Good cooperation between units, short decision-making paths, and close contact with management are characteristics of us. At the hospital, we care for employee health and well-being and have access to our own staff gym as well as a personal trainer.
Your Responsibilities
Your tasks include nutritional assessment and treatment of inpatients at our three care wards, including surgery, medicine, and orthopedics. You will also meet patients on referral in outpatient care, conduct group education, telephone visits, and remote visits. As a dietitian, you provide knowledge support to other healthcare staff and work as part of a team around different patient groups.
The work is highly varied and flexible, and you have great opportunities to influence how you structure your day. Torsby Hospital is the only hospital in Värmland working with bariatric surgery, where the dietitian plays a major role in the process before and after surgery.
Bariatric care is a team consisting of nurses, a dietitian, and surgeons. At Torsby Hospital, two additional dietitians work, giving you the opportunity to consult when needed. We provide individually tailored introduction and offer interesting and rewarding work. Working hours are daytime, Monday through Friday.
Your Knowledge and Competencies
We are looking for a licensed dietitian. If you have professional experience in the field, this is considered a merit.
To thrive in this role, you should appreciate working independently and be able to structure and perform your tasks efficiently. You see opportunities in change and can adapt to changing circumstances. We also place great emphasis on your ability to collaborate, as teamwork is a major part of the work.
We warmly welcome your application!
