Clinical Psychologist at Mental Health Center

FOKUS Tábor, z. s. has been providing services to people with mental illness since 2001. As part of mental health care reform, it established a mental health center (CDZ) in 2020, which combines social and health care into one unified entity. The CDZ's multidisciplinary team includes a psychiatrist, clinical psychologist, social workers, and nurses. The CDZ offers new support options, a fresh perspective on care, and an approach to recovery for people with mental illness. The CDZ's goal is to provide users with support and care that enables them to overcome difficulties associated with the manifestations and consequences of serious mental illness in everyday environments, ideally even in cases of health deterioration or other crises that may arise. We are looking for a clinical psychologist to join our mental health center team in Tábor on a 0.2 – 1.0 full-time equivalent basis. What you will do: • Conduct psychological assessments of client status, particularly regarding mental health manifestations, coping mechanisms, and impacts on everyday life. • Provide psychological care and support to clients - offering consultations in outpatient settings or in the client's natural environment. • Work closely with other CDZ specialists as part of a multidisciplinary team. • Participate in team meetings designed to share important information with colleagues and collectively establish the best pathways toward client recovery. • Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals in the region. Knowledge and skills you should have: • Certification in clinical psychology. • Completed qualification course for Psychologists in Healthcare. • Psychotherapy training or functional specialization in psychotherapy/certification in psychotherapy preferred. • Interest in issues affecting people with serious mental illness. • Willingness to embrace modern trends in mental health care. • Ability to work in teams, consider multiple perspectives, and solve problems collaboratively. • Clean criminal record.
