Social Services Worker - Direct Care Attendant

Please send job applications to: [email protected] Basic Job Description The main responsibilities include providing comprehensive care services to clients at a seniors home. This includes assisting with personal hygiene, dressing, supporting clients during meals, accompanying clients to medical appointments and outings, and handling clients' laundry. The worker also performs bed-making, changing linens, and disinfecting beds and mattresses. The worker collaborates in organizing cultural and social events and helps create conditions for dignified care of clients. The position also includes the role of key worker, which involves developing individual care plans and implementing these plans, as well as maintaining individual records documenting the progress of social services. Additional Requirements: - Minimum completed basic education and completion of an accredited qualification course for social services workers in accordance with Act No. 108/2006 Sb., as amended (or willingness to complete the course within 12 months of employment start date) - Criminal record clearance Personal Qualities: - Respect and consideration for seniors - Ability to work as part of a team Additional Details: - Full-time employment contract for a fixed term of 1 year with possibility of extension to an indefinite term - 4-month probationary period - Shift allowance for night shifts and weekend/holiday shifts - Personal allowance possible after probationary period - 24/7 operation, two-shift work schedule, Monday-Sunday, day shift 07:00 - 18:30 h, night shift 18:30 - 07:00 h We Offer: - Employer contribution toward meals - 5 weeks of paid time off - Pleasant work environment in a small team - Semi-annual bonuses and special performance bonuses - Employer benefits contribution
