ABOUT THE JOB We are now seeking nursing assistants for Ventilen for both permanent and fixed-term positions. Ventilen is a special residential facility for elderly people with various forms of dementia. We have 24 apartments that we are responsible for, and we currently have 27 residents (as we are a facility that allows couples to live together). At Ventilen, both nursing assistants and care assistants work together. Our most important work tool is our approach and our smile, so that our residents feel seen and affirmed. For us, it is important that you enjoy your job and that everyone is involved in the daily work together. We were named Team of the Year 2025 and are the first in Västerbotten to be certified as an Antibiotic Smart unit, which we are very proud of! Our work is to make a difference for those living with us, so that their quality of life is as good as possible. Being the one who can make a difference makes the job very enjoyable. Your responsibilities include having care responsibility for one or more service users. Lycksele Hospital is a small, modern, and well-equipped acute care hospital in southern Lapland. It has departments and clinics in areas such as surgery, radiology, internal medicine, rehabilitation/stroke, ophthalmology, obstetrics/gynecology, psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, and pediatrics. The hospital and the proximity of our operations to each other offer a unique opportunity for development and learning across boundaries and a broad foundation to build on. Center for Obstetrics and Gynecology Västerbotten (CFOG) is a regional organization where the three hospitals in the region participate and collaborate.
