FACULTY OF HEALTH STUDIES - ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR IN PSYCHOLOGY

POSITION DESCRIPTION: Teaching activities, primarily lectures, examinations, seminars and practical classes including preparation of study materials and learning resources, supervision of bachelor's, master's and doctoral theses in psychology, participation in examination boards and state final exams, creative activities, particularly independent work on scientific tasks in research and development with significant importance for the advancement of the respective scientific field; creative coordination of national or international projects, scientific and research tasks in psychology, participation in activities ensuring research financing (identifying, writing and submitting grants or contract collaboration opportunities), involvement in project implementation as a principal investigator or co-investigator, publication activities and professional development activities, guarantee of selected fundamental theoretical subject according to accreditation requirements of the study program and achieved education and qualifications. EDUCATION AND SKILLS: Completed master's degree in psychology, habilitation in psychology, extensive professional and publication activities in the field, pedagogical education or relevant teaching experience, required Czech language proficiency at native speaker level, required English language proficiency at C1 level (may be verified during personal interview), criminal, civil and moral integrity, independence, responsibility. EMPLOYMENT: 20% position, employment contract will be concluded for a fixed term until 31. 10. 2029 with possibility of extension. START DATE: 1. 11. 2026/by arrangement. SALARY: salary grade A4, expected salary: 10.000 Kč/month, possibility of personal allowance after probation period based on work performance evaluation.
