Within the DUS CNS West unit (Communication, Navigation & Surveillance), we ensure that the technical infrastructure for aviation and other critical services operates 24/7, 365 days a year.
We are now seeking a group leader for our team in Landvetter who work with the operation and maintenance of aviation systems in an environment where quality and safety are paramount. Production management and resource planning of personnel are the focus of the role.
We work with everything from planning and installation to operation, maintenance, and advanced troubleshooting.
About the Role
As Group Leader for DUS (Operations, Maintenance and Support) West based at Landvetter, you will have a central role in the operations. You have personnel responsibility for approximately 15 employees based in Landvetter. You are responsible for managing the daily work and ensuring that the operations deliver with high quality, safety, and availability.
The operations primarily encompass planned and corrective maintenance of aviation systems, as well as technical infrastructure related to other critical functions. The work is conducted in close collaboration with customers and partners.
Working with safety-critical systems places high demands on expertise. Therefore, our technicians undergo training and certification processes before they are authorized to work independently.

As Group Leader, you are responsible for ensuring that guidelines, instructions, and safety requirements are followed and for fostering a culture characterized by engagement, innovation, and solution-focused thinking. The role reports to the Unit Manager and is part of the region's management team.
Your duties and responsibilities include:
Personnel responsibility for direct subordinates.
Plan and conduct goal-setting meetings, salary reviews, and individual check-ins.
Coach employees to achieve individual development and set goals.
Assist in directing and distributing daily work.
Assist in planning/monitoring/recording and receiving the team's assignments.
Assist in resource planning for operations and project assignments.
Responsibility for internal training planning in your team.
Collaboration with customer functions within your area of responsibility.
Collaboration with other functions within DUS.
Promote good personnel management by contributing to team motivation and creating understanding for assignments/business/goals.
Who Are You?
We are looking for someone with experience leading and developing technical operations within maintenance and operations.
To succeed in the role, we also see that you:
Have or have had an ATSEP license.
Have a university degree or equivalent education.
Excellent knowledge in both speech and writing in Swedish and English.
Hold a Category B driver's license.
Merits include:
Previous experience in a government organization.
Experience in a production management role.
Experience with aviation systems, technical infrastructure, telecommunications, or other safety-critical operations.

Other Information
This is a permanent position based at Landvetter Airport.
Before employment, a security clearance will be conducted, which includes background checks, security interviews, and drug testing. This position requires Swedish citizenship.
