We are now seeking a dedicated nursing assistant for Västerliden Senior Living in Rimforsa. Västerliden Senior Living consists of 26 apartments and is divided into 2 units. The Gröna Backen unit with somatic focus and 3 short-term care beds, and the Solglimten unit with dementia focus. Here you'll meet some of the country's most satisfied residents! Rimforsa has good bus connections and parking available adjacent to the senior living facility. A care home with 54–60 beds will be built in Rimforsa and is expected to be completed in 2028. Västerliden's operations will then be closed and moved into the new senior living facility. Your tasks Care work is important, rewarding, and developmental work where you provide support and assistance to the elderly based on their individual needs and create meaningful daily lives for them. You will place great emphasis on working according to values based on the individual's wishes, needs, and abilities. Your task is to be a professional practitioner who works to strengthen each individual's abilities and resources so they experience their daily life as understandable, manageable, and meaningful. Meeting people is the focus, and you contribute to creating good relationships with family/loved ones and other professional groups. The work also includes contact responsibility, ombudsman roles, documentation according to SOL and HSL regulations, as well as handling and responsibility for interventions delegated by licensed personnel. Qualifications: We are looking for someone who is a trained nursing assistant. Post-secondary education is an advantage, for example specialist training in dementia care or palliative care. Experience working with dementia and knowledge of low-arousal approaches is also advantageous.
