About the Job: The Infrastructure and Development Administration is one of four administrations in Kinda Municipality. The other administrations are the Health and Care Administration, the Education Administration, and the Municipal Executive Administration. The Infrastructure and Development Administration develops the community and has a broad mandate. We offer a workplace with creative discussions, high pace, and solution-focused working methods. The administration consists of approximately 100 committed employees with varying roles and work areas. Right now we are looking for someone who wants to develop with us and is curious about working with our water and wastewater facilities. Job Responsibilities: You will be placed within the Water and Waste Department, which is responsible for the municipality's water and wastewater treatment plants, water towers, pressure boosting stations, pumping stations, water and wastewater distribution networks, recycling centers, and waste facilities. Here you will be part of a production team responsible for water and wastewater treatment plants, water towers, pressure boosting stations, and pumping stations. We offer you a varied job ranging from routine tasks such as electrical installation, monitoring, operation and maintenance, to troubleshooting, repairs, problem-solving, regulatory compliance, self-inspection, development, and operational optimization of our electrical systems and control and regulation systems. Responsibility for electrical installations and the role of electrician for regulatory compliance, as well as system management of operation and monitoring systems, will also be part of your duties. Currently, electrical work is also performed on street lighting, such as installation, control, and troubleshooting for other operations within the municipality. Some other minor electrical work is also performed for other departments as time allows. Since much of the work is performed independently, you will have great opportunity to influence the daily work arrangement. The position includes on-call duty, and currently on-call service is one week in every five weeks. Qualifications: We want you to have technical education at least at upper secondary school level, such as Electrical and Energy program with specialization in automation or electrical engineering, or other education or experience that the employer deems equivalent. You have several years of experience with electrical work with elements of automation, control and regulation, and you have electrical authorization A or AL. If you have knowledge in programming of control and regulation systems and monitoring systems (PLC, SCADA), this is a merit. Good understanding of reading and interpreting technical system drawings and electrical schematics, as well as ability to establish relationship documentation. If you also have project planning knowledge, this is a merit. You are someone who can and enjoys working both independently and in collaboration with others, and you are practically inclined, thorough, structured, responsible, proactive, and service-oriented. For the position, a Class B driver's license for manual transmission and good computer skills are required. More Information and Application: The position is a permanent full-time employment.
