DEPARTMENT HEAD - CONSTRUCTION PREPARATION AND IMPLEMENTATION

Fixed-term employment contract with possibility of further indefinite contract. Requirements: • University degree in construction engineering - transportation/road construction • Minimum 5 years of experience in road construction (advantageous) • ČKAIT authorization for road construction or bridges and engineering structures, or BOZP coordinator • Experience leading teams, organizational and communication skills Job Responsibilities: During construction preparation • Directs and organizes activities of regional departments for construction preparation in cooperation with the construction preparation manager • Reviews documentation for road reconstruction projects in the Hradec Králové Region • Coordinates preparation of project documentation and related surveys • Coordinates securing property preparation and building permits • Organizes review of project designs and construction budgets • Organizes documentation for tender procedures • Assists in preparing documentation for grant funding During construction implementation • Directs and organizes activities of regional departments for construction implementation in cooperation with construction implementation managers • Organizes supervision of construction site management (chief engineer of construction) • Organizes quality control of completed work by contractors • Monitors compliance with construction schedules • Organizes safety and order on construction sites • Reviews alignment of construction work invoicing with budget and project • Coordinates preparation of necessary documentation for grant funding implementation • Oversees commissioning of completed projects More information available at www.uskhk.eu.
