Family Therapist

Family Center is part of the open care unit in Hallstahammar. It also includes support and treatment groups working with adults, as well as Open Preschool and Family Center. We have close collaboration and cooperation both within the unit and with other parts of the municipality's social and family care services. Our premises are located in close proximity to the administrative offices, which allows us to maintain easy and direct collaboration on shared matters. Following the new Social Services, our operations have been strengthened and expanded, and we are therefore now seeking a colleague who is passionate about working with families, children and young people with often complex issues for our family therapy team. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a Family Therapist, you will be part of a team consisting of family therapists and a team leader at Family Center. Here we work with change processes in families based on approved interventions from social services and with interventions without needs assessment. We also offer group activities, parenting education and preventive measures in various forms. We have continuous and close collaboration with preschool, school, health and medical care and other stakeholders in the field. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for a Family Therapist who is passionate about working with families, children and young people with often complex issues. Desirable training/competencies include FFT, Komet, ABC, Trappan, intimate partner violence and systems theory. You must be able to work in an environment where animals are present. Some evening and weekend service may occur. We are looking for someone who has: - a degree in social work or equivalent education that the employer considers equivalent - previous experience working with change processes within social services. It is meritorious if this has been in the area of children, youth and families - at least 1 year of experience working within social services, focused on children, youth and families - experience of collaboration and cooperation with other stakeholders, internal and external - a driver's license for a manual transmission car As a person, we see that you are relationship-building and find it easy to collaborate with the families you meet in your work, your own work group and with other partners internally and externally.
