Mail Carrier/Package Delivery - Farsta

CityMail delivers mail and packages to approximately 6 million individuals and businesses in Sweden. We are now looking for more colleagues for our Farsta location.

We are looking for someone who:
is at least 18 years old
has basic Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
has a B driving license
enjoyed physical work
prefers permanent employment but is flexible
is comfortable operating vehicles you are licensed/certified to drive (bicycle, moped, car)
It is a merit if you have experience from similar work, but for us your background is not the most important thing. We value your commitment, attention to detail, and work attitude, and therefore place great importance on your personal qualities during the recruitment process.
What does a workday look like?
Operations are open during weekdays (excluding holidays). Working hours are distributed between 07:00-16:30.
The workday begins with preparation of today's deliveries, where you and your colleagues sort today's mail and packages.
After that, deliveries are made within the area. We primarily use e-bikes for deliveries, but you may also use cars, mopeds, and regular bicycles depending on which delivery route you have for the day.
Once all mail and packages have been delivered, you return to the office and finish with administrative tasks and preparation for tomorrow's work together with your colleagues.
Employment Type
This position is an hourly employment where each work shift constitutes a separate fixed-term contract. You will work varying hours and scope, depending on the day and business needs. We would like you to be available to work up to full-time during daytime hours. To give you the right conditions to succeed, employment begins with an introductory period.
Salary
Fixed hourly or monthly salary according to collective agreement. A wage scale applies for both regular and hourly employees. Starting salary/hour is 150 (incl. 12% vacation compensation) which corresponds to 134 kr (excl. 12% vacation compensation).
