Employer: City of Brušperk, Brušperk Municipal Office Work Location: Brušperk Municipal Library and libraries within its managed region, and Brušperk Information Center Job Responsibilities: - Library Operations * Municipal library activities * Methodological, consulting, and advisory services for served municipal libraries within regional functions * Organization of library educational and communication events * Management and revision of library collections including exchange collection * Administration of automated library systems * Acquisitions – purchasing, selection, and supplementing library collection materials * Provision of comprehensive lending and information services, patron care * Management and supplementing of library collection (acquisitions/purchasing, cataloging, professional processing, and regular revisions) * Work in automated library systems - Cultural and Information Operations * Organization and coordination of educational, social, and cultural city events * Management and operation of art gallery, memorial, and other exhibition spaces (organizing exhibitions, openings) * Support in operation of municipal information center and public communication Candidate Requirements: * Secondary education with school-leaving examination or higher education (library science, education, humanities, or information systems preferred) * Excellent communication and organizational skills, pleasant demeanor * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * User-level PC skills * Category B driver's license * Time flexibility (expectation of irregular work in evenings or weekends) * Ability to manually handle library collections and equipment during event preparation * Submission of criminal record clearance Advantages: - Experience in library science or cultural organization - Excellent knowledge of the book market and current cultural events - Knowledge of automated library systems and basic graphic design tools Employment Start Date: November 2026 or by agreement Salary Grade: 9 (25,190 Kč to 36,210 Kč based on credited experience) + performance bonus Employee Benefits: * 25 days annual leave * 5 days sick leave * Semi-annual bonuses * 6,000 Kč annual allowance for wellness activities and products (e.g., vacation, physical activities, vitamins, etc.) * Meal allowance * Up to 21,000 Kč annual contribution to supplementary pension insurance * Flexible working hours * Opportunities for professional and personal development Application Requirements: Applicant's application must include: * Name, surname, and title, date and place of birth, citizenship, permanent address, date, and signature Documents to attach: * CV including information on previous employment and professional knowledge and skills relevant to the position (see point 4) * Certified copy of highest education diploma * Criminal record clearance not older than 3 months (original or certified copy) * For foreign nationals, equivalent document certifying good standing issued by their home country Submission Deadline, Address, and Method: * In person at Brušperk Municipal Office reception desk during business hours * Via postal service to: Brušperk Municipal Office * By email to: [email protected]
