Payroll Specialist at Hanza Shared Service Center

Here we work closely with the business with a focus on quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. We are now looking for an experienced payroll specialist to join our team in Årjäng who wants to take responsibility for payroll delivery across multiple operations within the group. You will have a broad and independent specialist role with many contact points and the opportunity to contribute to the development of processes and practices within the payroll area. About the Role As a payroll specialist, you are responsible for payroll management for multiple companies and operations within Hanza. You work independently throughout the entire payroll process and play an important role in ensuring quality, service, and on-time delivery. The role involves many contact points where you collaborate closely with managers, People & Culture, and colleagues within the Shared Service Center. In addition to operational payroll work, you contribute knowledge and advice on matters relating to payroll, collective agreements, and payroll-related processes. You also participate in developing and improving routines, practices, and system support in this area. Example of Tasks Responsible for the entire payroll process from documentation to salary payment Ensure correct handling according to laws, regulations, and collective agreements Conduct checks, reconciliations, and quality assurance of payroll documentation Handle government reporting and statistics Provide support to managers and employees on payroll matters Prepare reports and decision-making materials Contribute to development and improvement of processes and system support within time reporting and payroll Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone with several years of experience in qualified payroll work who feels confident in the entire payroll process. You have good knowledge of collective agreements, employment law, and the regulations that govern payroll management. As a person, you are well-organized, meticulous, and responsible. You enjoy working independently while also valuing collaboration and knowledge sharing with colleagues. You have a service-oriented work style and are comfortable in a role with many contact points. We would like you to have: Experience with independent payroll work in larger or more complex operations Good knowledge of collective agreements and payroll-related legislation Experience working with various HR and payroll systems Good administrative skills and an organized work approach It is a merit if you have experience from a group environment, multiple companies or operations with different collective agreements.
