Dog Walker 50% and Dog Groomer on Flexible Schedule
We are now hiring a dog walker for one of our groups in Bromma. The position is Monday-Friday approximately 10:00-14:00. The position is part-time (50%) on weekdays without holidays between approximately 10:00-14:00, located in Bromma. Some groups may expand to 5 hours if there is demand in the area. This position can also be combined with hours as a dog groomer. We are looking for someone with good experience with dogs, preferably in group settings, and who also has training as a dog groomer. You should be open to combining dog walking and dog grooming during the workday - dog walking approximately 10:00-14:00 and grooming later in the afternoon on a flexible schedule. DOG GROOMER: Dog grooming is a new offering to our customers and is a concept under development that may initially be very sporadic. The idea is that dog walking is the primary service and dogs are picked up at our facility in the afternoon for grooming or similar. DOG WALKER: Our dog groups are mixed with approximately 6-10 dogs out at the same time, depending on time and day. The groups are mixed in terms of size and include both female and male dogs. The work is entirely on foot and outdoors for the entire shift as a dog walker - no driver's license needed. As a dog walker with us, we are looking for someone who is calm and confident, who has a good way with dogs and good local knowledge. It is important that you are independent and comfortable taking responsibility. Since the position means you will mostly (if not always) walk a group of dogs alone and handle everything that entails - including picking up/dropping off dogs, managing any challenges during walks, and maintaining continuous contact with dog owners. The position is based at various locations within Bromma and we are out all day. Bad weather should not stop you! Love, interest, and experience with dogs is a requirement; previous professional experience is a merit. This is a position perfect for you if you are, for example, studying remotely or have another part-time job you would like to combine. For a permanent position, we are looking for someone who has a plan to stay at least 6 months, but preferably longer - some of our dog walkers have been with us since 2018! The salary for this position is per hour at 135:- per hour. When managing your own group, a responsibility allowance is added on top of the hourly wage. For those driven to take on more, there is also an opportunity to take on more responsibility in customer and staff management - which involves some overtime and other responsibility allowances. For this, we would like previous experience in customer management (or equivalent) and training in dog care (or equivalent). For those trained as a dog instructor or dog psychologist, there is also an opportunity to conduct training/courses through the company. We are also always looking for substitutes! As a substitute, you can learn groups to step in when regular staff are sick or on leave, as well as help with onboarding new dogs. We are looking for someone available to start immediately! Please indicate in your application if you are interested in a permanent position or substitute work. To learn more about us - visit our website: www.strosaochnosa.se
