WORK DUTIES As a substitute within the Meals Unit, you will work as needed in our kitchens within preschool, school, and elderly care. Your work duties may vary depending on the operation's needs and include food preparation, meal service, dishwashing, cleaning, and other kitchen tasks as needed. You contribute to ensuring that meals maintain high quality and that work is performed according to applicable food hygiene and self-inspection procedures. The role also includes handling special diets and adapted meals based on guests' needs. You help create a safe, pleasant, and welcoming meal environment where enjoyment of food, service, and good treatment are in focus. Together with colleagues, you contribute to a good work environment and a well-functioning operation. We value sustainability and actively work to reduce food waste and use ingredients responsibly. As a substitute, you are expected to contribute with engagement, flexibility, and a solution-oriented approach. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has education in restaurant and large-scale cooking, or other education and experience that the employer considers equivalent. Experience working in a kitchen with food preparation is an advantage, as is experience from large-scale kitchens, restaurants, or public meal services. You have basic knowledge of food hygiene and self-inspection procedures and understand the importance of safe and nutritious meals. If you have knowledge of special diets and food allergies, that is an advantage. We would like to see that you have good computer skills and can learn the digital systems and procedures used in the operation. As a person, you are responsible, flexible, and service-oriented.
