Support Educator or Educator for Mo Gårds New Adult Residential Facility in Svedala!

Do you want to be there from the very beginning and create something real? In spring 2027, we are opening a brand new residential facility under the LSS (Act Concerning Support and Service for Persons with Certain Functional Impairments) in Svedala. Here you have a unique opportunity to help shape both work methods, culture, and daily life. This is not an established operation you're stepping into. It's something we're building together. Work with us is varied and eventful. No two days are the same. You will work closely with individuals with different needs and challenging ways of expressing themselves, where your ability to listen, be flexible, and provide a secure approach makes a real difference. We don't yet know exactly who will move in. That makes the assignment both complex and exciting. It requires your curiosity, your professionalism, and your willingness to find the right way forward together with others. For us, it's about creating a meaningful everyday life together with the individual. Building relationships, creating structure, and providing security, while you help shape an operation from the ground up together with colleagues and management. The residential facility is located in a calm, rural setting just outside Svedala town, surrounded by fields and open landscape. Do you want to be part of something new. Something that requires commitment, courage, and collaboration. Then this is an opportunity to apply. Your responsibilities As a support educator or educator, you work together with the unit manager and special educator to strengthen the staff team's knowledge and ability to provide services according to LSS. You have an important role in ensuring quality in the operation by following up and developing work around planning, implementation, and evaluation. You ensure that laws and regulations are followed, with particular focus on documentation and quality assurance of methods and work approaches at the unit level. Your assignment also includes supporting and mentoring colleagues in pedagogical work and translating implementation plans into a meaningful and functional everyday life for each individual. The role combines supervisory responsibility with direct work together with our residents. With us, you get to work close to the residents and help create a daily life characterized by self-determination, participation, and high quality. About you We are looking for you who have post-secondary education as a support educator within LSS, or alternatively as a social pedagogue, treatment pedagogue, or social worker. Knowledge of LSS, intellectual disabilities, and neuropsychiatric disabilities is meritable, as is experience working in the field. Since the operation is conducted in a sign language environment, knowledge of—or interest in learning—sign language is particularly valuable. You express yourself well in writing and have good knowledge of social documentation. Experience or interest in IT we see as a plus. As a person, you are curious, attentive, and open to others' perspectives. You have a humanistic view of people and enjoy working in a flexible operation where development and improvement are a natural part of everyday life. You work in a structured and solution-focused manner, find it easy to build good relationships, and contribute a pedagogical, guiding, and supportive approach in collaboration with colleagues. For you, it is self-evident to be involved in the operation's development and to contribute to good cohesion in the work team. We place great emphasis on personal qualities. The role suits you who want to combine pedagogical expertise with a warm and professional approach and who are driven to develop the operation together with others. Employment We offer a permanent employment at 100 percent with a monthly salary by agreement and based on individual salary setting. We apply a 6-month probationary period and start date is by agreement. Your working hours will include day shifts, evening shifts, sleeping on-call shifts, and every other weekend. A condition for employment is that you can provide an extract from the criminal record register and the suspicion register and that you have a driver's license for a manual car. As part of our recruitment process, we use problem-solving ability and personality tests. Before employment, we will conduct a citizenship verification. You will need to present a passport, national ID card, or certificate of identity. If you are not a citizen of Sweden, EU, EEA, or Switzerland, you must also demonstrate a valid work permit or that you are exempt from the requirement to have a work permit according to the Aliens Ordinance, Chapter 6, Section 13a. Selection is ongoing and may be filled before the final application deadline, so don't wait to submit your application. Final application deadline 2026-12-31 We warmly welcome your application!
