About the Role As Engineering Manager, you have a central role in our projects and are responsible for leading, coordinating and monitoring the engineering work. Your Primary Responsibilities Lead and coordinate engineering work through the project's various phases. Plan, monitor and drive engineering toward established goals, schedules and requirements. Coordinate internal and external engineers and various technical disciplines. Ensure that drawings, technical descriptions and other engineering documentation meet quality standards. Identify and manage technical issues, interfaces and changes. Participate in technical meetings and engineering meetings and monitor decisions and actions. Provide support to the project manager on technical and engineering-related matters. Ensure a smooth transition from engineering to implementation and production. Contribute to lessons learned and development of our processes and technical solutions. Maintain contact with customers, suppliers, contractors and other partners. Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for someone with a civil engineering degree or equivalent education such as technical high school or university engineer degree, with experience in engineering and project work within, for example, water and wastewater systems, water treatment, process industry, building or construction. You may have a background as an established engineering manager or engineer, designer or similar, and want to take the next step in a role with greater responsibility and a holistic perspective. To succeed in this role, you need to be structured and solution-oriented and enjoy coordinating many different issues and stakeholders. You have your own drive, are used to taking responsibility and have the ability to see both the details and the big picture of a project. We would like to see that you have: Experience in engineering and technical coordination. Experience from water and wastewater, building, construction or process industry. Ability to plan and structure your work and drive matters forward. Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with different professionals. Understanding of the technical, economic and schedule conditions of projects. Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written. Good knowledge of English is an advantage. It is advantageous if you have experience with treatment plants, piping systems, process facilities or water and wastewater projects.
