About the Job We are now recruiting a support pedagogue for our Daily Activities program on Södra Hamngatan in central Gothenburg. The activities consist of two units, with approximately half of the participants working at various workplaces located throughout Gothenburg. This position is a one-year contract starting October 1st, with good opportunities to continue working in the organization thereafter. As a support pedagogue, you are a role model and share responsibility for the pedagogical work at the facilities together with your colleagues. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a support pedagogue qualification or, alternatively, post-secondary specialization in the field of disability services comprising at least 200 vocational credits, 120 higher education credits, or a combination equivalent to at least four semesters of full-time studies. Alternatively, 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience working in support and services for people with disabilities. Your education should include relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work and (psychiatric) care. You must have previous experience working in Daily Activities. You also need experience with Motivational Interviewing. It is desirable that you have experience supporting people in guidance conversations. You are motivated by defined goals and have the ability to translate these into action. With a focus on the goal, you can reprioritize your work when circumstances change. You are responsible for creating structure and good communication throughout the workshop visit, from the first booking to when the customer picks up their completed car. The role involves great variety. One moment you might be receiving a customer and going through what needs to be done with their car, the next you might be planning with technicians, ordering parts, providing a cost estimate, or following up on ongoing work. You will work with customer reception, bookings, planning workshop work, ongoing customer dialogue, cost estimates, work orders, parts ordering, invoicing, and administrative follow-up.
