Snowmobile Guide at Vemdalen Experience

We are Vemdalen's largest snowmobile rental operation, but we also offer other activities such as snowmobile safaris, snow forest hiking, fishing, conferences, and organize group trips. We want your help to continue developing and growing! Languages: Fluent Swedish and English, additional languages are a plus. Driver's License: Category B & Snowmobile license, heavy trailer license is a plus. Education: Not required, but education in tourism/nature is a plus. Experience: Not required, but experience working with groups/leadership is a plus. Most importantly, we want to find someone who fits well with our operations! To do that, you are flexible, calm, and service-oriented. You are a skilled snowmobile driver and can handle the most common minor repairs that occur during snowmobile riding (for example, belt replacement). You enjoy being the center of attention with groups and feel good when making others happy. You thrive with personal responsibility and are committed to finding solutions that work for everyone involved! You will work with: The position is as a safari guide and snowmobile rental operator for our snowmobile rental in Vemdalen By. You will work primarily as a snowmobile guide, but other types of work assignments also occur such as shop work, reception, children's snowmobile track, etc. The position involves work on guided full-day and half-day tours, ice fishing trips, snow forest hiking, and private tours. Your work tasks will include: Guiding snowmobile safaris Taking photos during guided tours for social media Meeting customers Preparing meals in the mountains Performing inspections on snowmobiles Responsible for safety during activities Assisting in reception and shop and answering phones. Employment Type: Seasonal employment for the winter season 2025/2026. Scope: Varying based on need, between 50-100%, with periodic opportunities for additional hours beyond that.
