Together with your colleagues, you make sure our guests receive the best possible treatment and that the restaurant always delivers at the highest level—in terms of quality, pace, and service. You work as part of a team with varying tasks: you serve guests, keep the restaurant clean and tidy, work in the kitchen preparing burgers and fries, and manage the register to ensure guests receive what they ordered. About the Position We are now seeking an engaged restaurant staff member who wants to be part of our team, starting in autumn 2026. The position typically comprises approximately 80 percent during autumn, winter, and spring. During summer, when operations increase, there is often opportunity for additional hours. The hours can vary based on operational needs and agreed schedules. Work is scheduled and includes day, evening, weekend, and night shifts. The restaurant is open late year-round on Fridays until 1:00 AM and Saturdays until 4:00 AM. During summer, operating hours are extended throughout the week. You must therefore be able to work varying hours, including late Friday and Saturday nights. Very good Swedish is a requirement because the work involves constant customer contact, verbal orders, cash handling, and important communication with colleagues. Previous experience in restaurants, fast food, cafés, or service is a plus but not required. Your attitude, work ethic, and willingness to learn are most important. Housing and Commute We need to fill this position with relatively short notice. You must therefore already live in Västervik or within a reasonable commuting distance and be able to get to and from work even after late night shifts. The employer does not provide staff housing.
