Materials Procurement Specialist

About the Role We are now seeking a Materials Procurement Specialist for an assignment within the industry. The role involves close collaboration with suppliers, production, and internal functions to ensure an efficient material flow and high delivery precision. You will have an important function in the supply chain where you are responsible for planning, ordering, and following up on material and component deliveries to support the company's production. We offer a long-term consulting assignment with immediate start, where you become an important part of the customer's production-technical operations in Vara. In the role, you will, among other things: Ensure deliveries of materials and components to production. Place, book, and monitor deliveries from suppliers. Maintain ongoing contact with suppliers and ensure correct material quantities based on needs and forecasts. Work proactively with planning and monitoring of material flows. Identify and manage delivery disruptions and take corrective actions in collaboration with production. Follow up on delivery status and ensure high delivery reliability. Work in business systems for planning, monitoring, and administration of material procurement. Your Profile You have post-secondary education within logistics, procurement, economics, or another relevant field, or equivalent work experience. You have experience working in business systems and feel comfortable with administrative and planning-related processes. You communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both verbally and in writing. You have good analytical skills and enjoy working data-driven. You are accustomed to prioritizing and managing multiple tasks in parallel. Merits Previous experience within logistics, material planning, or procurement. Experience from manufacturing industry or the automotive industry. Experience with SAP or similar business systems. You work in a structured and thorough manner, have strong responsibility, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in parallel.
