About the Role Together with your team, you'll shape the company's technical direction. Our core is built on Podio as a CRM system and an ecosystem of integrations toward invoicing, accounting, payroll, and communication systems—while we're driving a growing investment in AI and automation. You'll contribute operationally to technical delivery, from architecture to production, alongside the rest of the team. In this role, you'll spend most of your time on practical work—you code, build integrations, review code, and help shape the architecture behind our solutions. You'll work closely with colleagues and have the opportunity to influence how we build and develop our systems. Concretely, this means you: • Work operationally with the entire tech delivery: architecture, integrations, automation, and AI from idea to production • Drive and deliver custom AI solutions toward our business systems • Lead and collaborate with the team on technical development and planning • Develop and maintain a technical development plan together with the team • Take responsibility for security, operations, permissions, and data storage at the system level • Map and document the system landscape—how everything connects, where data flows, and why • Ensure quality through code review, architectural principles, and established practices • Identify together with the team where technology creates the most business value and solve those problems • Ensure high quality in technical solutions and deliveries Our office is located in central Stockholm. Your Background We believe you have approximately 3-5 years of development and coding experience, or alternatively a consultant background who now wants to go in-house and be part of a long-term journey. We want you to be curious, enjoy solving problems, and be able to take technical leadership. We'd like to see that you have: • Experience building and maintaining API integrations between different SaaS systems • Experience working in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, GCP, or similar)—preferably with understanding of infrastructure, security, and operations • Good understanding of data modeling and databases • Practical experience with modern AI tools in development or a genuine drive to learn for real • Strong system architecture competence—can think in modules, interfaces, and scalability • Experience with business systems (CRM, accounting, payroll, telephony) or ability to quickly get up to speed in such environments • Ability to communicate and document freely in Swedish Merits: • Experience with Podio, GlobiFlow/Procfu, or similar low-code platforms • Previously worked with staffing, HR, accounting, or CRM systems (e.g., Fortnox, Visma, Quinyx, HubSpot) • Experience evaluating and migrating core systems • Hands-on with LLMs like Claude, Claude Code, MCP servers, or similar AI development tools Who We're Looking For We're looking for someone who genuinely cares about solving everyday problems with technology and sees the business value of what you build. You seek understanding before seeking solutions, and you clearly see the connection between what you build and the value it creates for the business. You have a natural ability to communicate with people regardless of technical background and enjoy working in a team. You think it's fun to deliver things that are actually used, not to build elegant systems that nobody touches. You want to be close to decisions, close to the business, and see the results of your work in operations every week. Staff Engineer – Product & Tech at Lendo
Shape the technical direction at Lendo – and help build the future of our Product & Tech organization. Do you want to influence both technology and how engineering works across an entire organization? As Staff Engineer at Lendo, you will play a key role in shaping our technical direction, architecture and engineering practices across Product & Tech. Lendo is a successful fintech company with a strong financial position, ambitious plans and a modern Product & Tech organization. We are continuously developing our offering and exploring new products, technologies and ways of creating value for our customers. You will work from our modern office in central Stockholm, where collaboration, great coffee, snacks and a social environment are part of everyday life. You will work directly with senior stakeholders and be part of the Product & Tech leadership team. Lendo combines a modern technical environment with an ambitious product and technology roadmap. Your impact will go beyond writing code – you will help shape architecture, technical standards, engineering capabilities and ways of working. You will join Lendo at an exciting time, with new products and exciting product initiatives ahead. Your Challenge As Staff Engineer, you will be part of the Product & Tech leadership team, working closely with Engineering Managers, the Head of Technology and other key stakeholders to shape the technical direction across Product & Tech. You will act as a technical compass across our engineering organization, helping teams make sound technical decisions while staying close enough to the engineering work to understand and solve complex challenges. You will: Own and evolve Lendo's technical strategy, architecture and engineering standards. Set technical direction across multiple agile teams and create alignment around architecture and ways of working. Facilitate our Tech Lead forum and drive cross-team technical initiatives. Support teams in areas such as resilience, security, operational risk and major technical incidents. The Team and Workplace The environment is modern, product-driven and forward-looking, with several new products and initiatives on the roadmap. This means you get the opportunity to influence areas that are still evolving, rather than simply stepping into an already established structure. The role sits close to the wider Product & Tech leadership, rather than being limited to one individual development team. You will work closely with senior stakeholders and have the opportunity to influence decisions across the broader technology organization. About You We are looking for a senior engineer with a strong architectural mindset who enjoys solving complex problems and influencing others through technical expertise rather than formal authority. You have: Extensive experience in software engineering, architecture or a similar senior technical role. Strong knowledge of modern software architecture and experience working across multiple teams. Experience with cloud environments, ideally GCP, and technologies such as Kubernetes and Terraform. Experience with or a strong understanding of Golang, TypeScript and/or React. The ability to move comfortably between strategic technical discussions and hands-on engineering. Strong communication skills and the ability to turn complex technical topics into clear decisions and actions. A pragmatic approach to balancing technical quality, business value and speed. A genuine interest in AI and modern technology. Experience from a regulated or high-trust environment and/or working closely with Data/ML teams is a plus.
