About the Role As a site manager, you are our primary representative on the projects. You lead and coordinate daily work on site, manage our own carpenters and subcontractors, and ensure the project is completed on time, on budget, and with the quality our customers expect. You work closely with our project managers, architects, clients, and property owners – often in active facilities where traffic flow, noise, and cleaning must be handled with good judgment. The role includes: • Plan, lead, and monitor construction projects on site – schedule, production, staffing, and material procurement • Manage project finances: budget tracking, purchasing, change order management, reconciliations, and forecasts • Procure, order, and coordinate subcontractors and monitor their deliverables • Serve as the construction site safety coordinator (BAS-U) and drive active workplace safety and health initiatives on site • Ensure quality inspections, quality plans, deviation management, and documentation through inspection and handover • Lead construction and design meetings and be the customer's primary contact during production • Coach and develop skilled workers and apprentices on site Required Qualifications • At least upper secondary education in construction and building trades or equivalent • At least 5 years of experience working as a site manager on assignments • At least 7 years of experience on construction projects • Training in workplace safety covering both BAS-U and BAS-P • Fluent Swedish, spoken and written • Well-documented experience managing schedules, budgets, and change orders on your own projects • Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and documents (AMA/AB/ABT) • Strong computer skills – project management tools, planning software, digital inspections, and Office • Valid driver's license (category B) • Passed background and reference checks plus ID06 verification Desirable Qualifications • Experience with tenant adaptations and office construction in active facilities • Experience with turnkey contracting and projects with high finish and fine carpentry standards • Background as a carpenter • Training in hot work, scaffolding assembly, lift operation, or CPR/first aid • Knowledge of BBR, KMA work, and sustainability requirements in construction projects • Experience with projects in culturally significant or detail-rich environments • English, spoken and written Who You Are You are a confident leader who gets things done without compromising on details.
