The department includes, among other things, LSS housing, day activities, care and residential facilities, home care services, service housing, day centers, activity centers and housing support, employment and housing within social psychiatry. The Housing with Special Services unit, District 2 in Järva District Administration, is responsible for 8 group and service housing facilities and for the Järva Personal Assistant unit. What unites the unit is that we work with the user's best interests in focus. Support is individually adapted and great emphasis is placed on good quality and safety at home. Your role As a support assistant, you shall meet the users' individual needs and provide support in all situations in daily life. The goal is to support users toward greater independence. The work is carried out with respect for users' right to self-determination and integrity. You support, motivate and assist residents in daily life and interpret and clarify everyday routines. You will work closely with colleagues and collaborate with guardians, relatives, day activities, healthcare and others. Your competence and experience We are looking for someone who has: • Completed a nursing care program with a focus on disability, child and leisure program, support pedagogue or equivalent documented healthcare and/or educational qualification • Worked at a group home or service housing facility • Good computer skills • Good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish We consider it meritorious if you have experience in the field and have worked with: • Cognitive aids • People with autism and neuropsychiatric diagnoses The tasks require high demands on personal responsibility, flexibility, initiative and we are looking for a person who acts professionally. We work based on the individual and all users have different support needs. Structure, routines and planning are key words for the operation to function. We will place great emphasis on personal qualities that are important in collaboration with others. A trial employment may be applied. Support is based on each individual's needs, circumstances and participation. We are looking for a support assistant with sleeping on-call/awake night shifts at a group home in Spånga. The group home is home primarily to people with various disabilities, including neuropsychiatric conditions and those on the autism spectrum.
