Welcome to us
As an archivist, you'll become part of our newly formed office and IT unit within the HR, Administration and Board department. We are currently seven engaged and competent colleagues who together maintain order of everything from board matters and filing to IT and information security. The group includes board secretaries, filing specialists, an information security coordinator and archive specialists.
You'll have your workplace in modern and fresh facilities at Måsholmstorget, directly at Skärholmen center and with the subway right nearby.

Your role
Your responsibilities include
coordinating the archive organization and driving the development of efficient and legally compliant management of the administration's information management and archives
standard archivist tasks such as organizing and cataloging archive materials, receiving deliveries to the administration's archives and following up on filing throughout the administration
creating and planning training sessions that you conduct for managers and employees in the field of information management and archives
cooperating with archivists in other districts and with the city's district archivists who coordinate inter-district matters
supporting filing specialists and board secretaries in their tasks when needed
Your competence and experience
We are looking for you who have
academic education in archival science
a couple of years of current experience working as an archivist with strong competence in standard archival tasks
good knowledge of laws and regulations related to archive operations
good ability to express yourself both orally and in writing in Swedish.
It is meriting if you have
experience working as an archivist in a public sector organization, preferably another municipality
previous experience with tasks as board secretary and/or filing specialist
system experience from a document and case management system, for example eDok (Platina), as well as operational systems such as Paraplyet and Visual Arkiv
