Shop Assistant

Ståhls Maskinuthyrning & Järnhandel is looking for someone who wants to work in the shop and help with our daily deliveries and product flow. You will stock items in the store, work at the receiving desk, pack orders, and assist customers with all their needs. You'll be working in a family-owned business where organization, attention to detail, and friendly customer service are important. You will also help customers find the right products, so you need to be service-oriented and have good knowledge of our inventory. We work with items such as ball bearings, belts, roller chains, fasteners, work clothes, and more. This also includes work related to hydraulics/hydraulic hoses (for example, hose pressing), but you may also be needed to support other areas such as equipment rental if needed. Responsibilities Stock and replenish items in the shop Receive deliveries, handle, and organize incoming goods Inspect, unpack, and organize incoming products Pack items for picking/delivery Maintain order in the warehouse and work areas Help customers find the right products Regularly check the shop and keep track of what needs to be ordered Operate the cash register Requirements Attentive to detail, responsible, and organized Good teamwork skills and willingness to do a good job Good computer skills and experience working in systems and handling calculations/estimates Interest in learning our product range and helping customers Desirable Experience from retail, warehouse, or receiving Knowledge/experience of hydraulic hose pressing Forklift certification (A, B, C) Driver's license (Class B) Employment begins as soon as we find the right person.
