Nursing Assistant with Advanced Competence at Residential Facility Sollidenvägen 64C

Are you an experienced nursing assistant with an interest in quality development and mentoring? We are now looking for two people with strong knowledge and experience in elder care who want to take on extra responsibility for mentoring, quality, and orientation in our operations. Here you will have a central role in contributing to good care and support through a person-centered approach, where each resident's needs and wishes are in focus. By working closely with both colleagues and management, you create security, participation, and development – for both residents and your colleagues. The unit is divided over two floors with a total of 52 apartments and is located close to forests and beautiful walking paths. The workplace is located at the top of Solliden and is within walking distance to Östersund city center. The position is 100% and working hours are scheduled on weekdays during daytime. Your placement is in the unit where you are employed, but your placement may be moved if needed. One of the positions is expected to start as soon as possible or by agreement. Your New Role As a nursing assistant with advanced competence, you are an important part in developing both the care and your colleagues at the entire residence. You work closely with the unit manager, assistant unit manager, coordinator, and various ombudspersons, and have a key role in supporting and guiding staff in daily work. This includes mentoring colleagues in basic nursing care, rehabilitative working methods, and documentation, as well as ensuring that procedures are followed. You participate in case meetings, share information throughout the operations, and support ombudsperson roles such as meal, activities, language, and documentation ombudspersons. Another important part is that you are responsible for the orientation of new employees and receiving new residents, where you help create a complete picture of needs and begin implementation plans.
