Childcare Worker at Unike Förskolor in Saltsjöbaden - Temporary Position
At Unike Förskolor, we operate a total of 10 preschools. Five in Nacka, four in Tyresö, and one in Vimmerby. We are now recruiting hourly substitute staff for our preschools in Saltsjöbaden, Nacka. The preschools Pilen and Fyren are located in separate facilities with large adjoining yards in Saltsjöbaden, Nacka. The preschools are Reggio Emilia-inspired, and children will have rich opportunities to explore, reflect on, and describe their surroundings. Duties As a childcare worker with us, you will work with children aged 1–5 years. You will provide coverage during absences, such as sick leave, parental leave, or leave of absence. You will actively participate in pedagogical activities, be involved in daily work with the children, and collaborate with colleagues to create a safe and developmental learning environment. Qualifications We are looking for someone who: Holds a childcare worker qualification. Has experience working with children in preschool. Is genuinely interested in children and their development. Is flexible, responsible, and has strong collaboration skills. Demonstrates professional conduct and excellent communication skills in both spoken and written form. Desirable: Experience working with Reggio Emilia philosophy. Knowledge of TAKK (sign language as an alternative and supplementary communication method). Other Information A certificate from the criminal record registry is required to work in preschool. This can be obtained through the Police. Application We welcome your application! Preschool Assistant in Parent Cooperative on Part-Time Basis (>50%)
About Us We are a small, family-oriented parent cooperative preschool in Ektorp, Nacka, with approximately 15 children aged 1–5 years. Our activities are characterized by community and curiosity, with a focus on children's language development, free play, and creative activities. Daily outdoor time in forest and nature is a natural part of our daily routine. We work in small groups and place great emphasis on secure relationships between children, educators, and our guardians, who are also actively involved in the cooperative. You should be familiar with the preschool curriculum. About the Position Work time: minimum 50%, with good opportunities for extended hours in the organization. Salary range: 150-168 kr/hour (equivalent to approximately 24,000-27,000 on a full-time basis), based on experience and education level in accordance with collective agreement. Qualifications Language: Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
