Support Assistants for Our New Group Home in Lindome

About Unika Spinnmästarevägen Unika Spinnmästarevägen is a newly built group home in Lindome, Mölndals municipality. The group home has six apartments for adults belonging to LSS category 1 (persons with disabilities). The operation is currently starting up with ongoing move-ins. We are now looking for you to join us on the journey of launching this new facility! About the Role of Support Assistant As a support assistant, you will work to provide individually tailored support to people with disabilities, with the goal of promoting their independence and well-being in everyday life. You will support residents in their daily routines and activities, based on their needs and abilities, always using their personal implementation plan as your starting point. We work with a salutogenic and educational approach, starting from each individual's unique strengths and resources. The goal is for residents to achieve as much independence as possible and live a meaningful life with high quality of life. As a support assistant, you will work according to clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal interaction to create security and predictability in residents' daily lives. At the same time, we maintain a strong focus on working professionally and efficiently within the operation's resources and budget. Qualifications You are relationship-building, calm, stable, and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations that arise in daily work. You have good teamwork skills and relate to others in an attentive way, and enjoy collaborating with others. You are an independent, humble, and responsible person who is passionate about care work and can recognize individuals' needs. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Requirements: • Very good ability in Swedish, both spoken and written. • Good computer skills and experience with documentation. • Experience working in care and support. • Upper secondary education such as child and youth care program, care and support program, or post-secondary education such as support pedagogue, social pedagogue, or higher education in a relevant field. Meriting if you also have: • Experience in psychiatry, AAC (alternative and augmentative communication), and low-arousal interaction. • Worked with complex support needs. Employment Terms Employment type: Permanent position, beginning with a 6-month probationary period Position level: Part-time and full-time positions Working hours: Day, evening, every other weekend, or night shift Start date: By agreement; we look favorably on short notice availability Collective agreement: We are bound by collective agreements with Vårdföretagarna/Kommunal, Sector E.
