A Day on the Job As a supervisor, you are responsible for the daily operations of the welding department. You lead, support, and develop your team while ensuring that production meets established goals for quality, delivery, safety, and efficiency. You work closely with the operations and are an important part of creating the right conditions for both employees and production. Together with the department manager and other functions within the organization, you actively contribute to improving work methods, processes, and the work environment. Your responsibilities include: Lead and allocate daily work on the department. Plan, follow up, and prioritize production based on operational needs. Ensure that quality, safety, and delivery targets are achieved. Work on continuous improvements of processes and work methods. Follow up on key performance indicators and drive initiatives for increased efficiency and quality. Ensure that procedures, regulations, and occupational health and safety requirements are complied with. Reporting and administration in the business system Infor XA. The role combines close operational leadership with administrative tasks. Shift work may occur. Is This You? We are looking for someone with experience in supervisory roles within manufacturing. If you also have experience from welding production, we see that as a strong merit. You are a confident and clear leader who creates engagement, participation, and good results. Through present leadership, you build trust, make decisions, and drive work forward in a structured way. For success in this role, we would like you to have: Experience in a supervisory or other leadership role within industry. Good understanding of production processes and improvement work. Ability to create structure, prioritize, and follow up on results. Good computer skills and experience with administrative tasks. Experience or knowledge within welding is highly desirable, as is experience in quality work, occupational health and safety matters, and piecework wage systems. Concrete Factory Trainer
We are the small concrete casting company with big solutions, with more than 25 years of experience in the industry. We are located in Markaryd in southern Småland, just a stone's throw from the borders of Skåne and Halland. A brief introduction to us. We have been in operation and manufacturing our products since -09. We primarily manufacture prefabricated concrete products for industry and agriculture such as walls, ground supports, plinths, stairs, beams, as well as custom castings. We can meet most of the requirements our customers may have and are of course CE certified, with our products having high and excellent environmental ratings. We are currently part of Strömsnäs companies. Our order intake and capacity continue to increase, and we are now seeking 2 colleagues for production in our factory. The position is temporary but with very good opportunities for continuation and permanent employment for the right person. Your role with us will be to shape and cast elements according to drawings in our daily production. It is a requirement that you have good blueprint reading skills and that you can communicate very well in Swedish. You also need to master basic carpentry skills such as setting up forms like wall frames, so that you can better understand how we build molds before casting. Your work tasks will include dismantling yesterday's casting to then assemble/build the molds according to drawing specifications. Reinforcement and casting materials must then be placed in. We cast and finish the surface according to customer requirements and prepare for the next day. Other tasks may also occur such as forklift operation, loading/unloading, post-processing, and reinforcement processing, etc. We can offer a pleasant workplace with smiling faces and good camaraderie where we all work as a team.
