Your Background Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5-7 years of experience in protection engineering, preferably within HVDC, FACTS, or power transmission systems. Desirable understanding of HVDC technology, converter topologies (VSC and/or LCC), and associated protection principles. Strong knowledge of high voltage substation protection and control systems, including design, configuration, testing, and commissioning of protection schemes for transmission and distribution networks. Experience with Intelligent Electronic Devices (IEDs) settings, configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
