Laboratory Technician (Temporary)

As a temporary laboratory technician with us, you will work preparing samples, conducting analyses, and ensuring quality of results. Our Offer The Psychiatric Clinic in Linköping is a university clinic with many different operations. The clinic consists of outpatient and inpatient care, a detoxification unit, and an acute unit. Job Description As a registered nurse, you have a central and leadership role in the department, where you are responsible for daily tasks and for leading the nursing work. In addition to main tasks such as medication management, participation in rounds, reporting, and social planning in collaboration with external actors, a large part of the work focuses on supporting and working closely with patients in their individual nursing care needs. The length of stays in our department varies, which means the work consists of everything from acute care to planned admissions. Patients primarily have psychiatric issues, but somatic comorbidities are common, which means that medical technical procedures are part of daily work. The work is creative; we work closely with patients and base our approach on their resources and abilities. For the past couple of years, we have been working from a recovery-oriented approach, and we see how care has moved from a more traditional approach to being driven by increasingly flexible and person-centered care where the patient's experience and needs are always our starting point.
