Working hours: You will vary between working early mornings, daytime, evenings, and weekends. Requirements: Upper secondary education, good knowledge of Swedish (spoken and written). We welcome applicants of all ages, but with reference to the Swedish Work Environment Authority's regulations AFS 2023:2 chapter 8 and appendix 2, we do not employ persons under 18 years of age due to the nature of the work tasks. Here's more about the position: You are a team player with more responsibility than others on your team, but without having the team lead's full personnel responsibility. Together with your team lead, you lead and plan your team's operations. Of course, you actively participate in the daily operational store work. You learn the knowledge and skills required to eventually take on the role of team lead. This is a stepping stone for your Willys career with the goal of becoming a future team lead or perhaps eventually a store manager? You work purposefully to develop the store's sales, profitability, and other important key figures. You are part of the management team at the store and have the team lead's job description on your development plan. You practice the skills you have learned through work and through training. You are a role model in meeting our customers with knowledge, finesse, and a big smile. About us For us, the right attitude and willingness to develop are more important than experience and education. We work together as a team, as we see that real good cooperation delivers the best results – while having fun at work. Here's a bit more about us: We work with concept management and chain operations – there are clear procedures and structures in place, which frees up time for you to focus on developing toward becoming a team lead and assisting your team lead with leading the team. Willys is one of the industry's most successful companies and we continue to grow. And because we're growing, you can too. As a large company, there are many opportunities to develop in your leadership role with us, including various training programs. Read more about what it's like to work with us here. About you You love food, people, and sales just as much as we do! Willys is constantly growing and developing, and you like doing that too. You want to learn new things, enjoy being challenged, and are driven by taking on greater responsibility. It's also great if: You're junior in your leadership and don't need experience from a leadership role, but see yourself as a future leader and are driven by leading others. Alternatively, you already have the experience, but not within grocery retail. You're good at communicating, enjoy engaging your colleagues, and are good at creating a positive work climate. You love people, put the customer's needs first, and are good at bringing people along – both customers and employees. Best Side Gig in Kungälv – Earn Money Where the Party Is!
Best side gig in town – earn money where the party is! "A year ago I barely knew what blackjack was. Now I'm working at Cherry's most fun venues, running the tables, and earning more than many of my friends." – Linn, 21 years old What's it really like to work as a blackjack dealer? Linn, one of our team members, shares: What the job actually involves: You stand at the blackjack table, deal the cards, keep track of the game, and make sure everyone has a good time. You set the vibe. One evening you might have a table full of girls on a bachelorette party, the next night a company on a Christmas dinner, and then a great group out for after-work drinks. You're the face of it all – warm, clear, professional. And no, you don't need to know anything about cards or games. All that's required is that you're social, calm under pressure, and genuinely enjoy meeting people. Everything else you'll learn at Cherry's free internal training. Why this job? I've tried most things like cashier, waitressing, telemarketing. This is the first side gig that actually feels like something more than just hours for money. Why choose Cherry: No two evenings are the same, so you won't get bored. You get paid to be social and present in a fun environment, not to hide behind a screen or in a back room. Every shift is an adventure meeting new people, so you become really sharp at reading people, chatting, and staying on top of things (without even thinking about it). You quickly realize you're a big part of the vibe, and without you it's just not the same flow. You build experience that makes you amazing at any service job (and honestly, life in general). It's a flexible job you can combine with studies or other commitments. About Cherry: Cherry Spelglädje has existed since 1963 and is Sweden's largest operator of land-based commercial gaming, serving over 80% of the market. We're about 600 people spread across 40 districts throughout the country. On the floor, Cherry feels like a great team with strong camaraderie, where many find lifelong friends. Who we think fits: We're looking for someone who contributes to a good atmosphere at the tables, creates a safe gaming environment, and makes guests feel welcome. It shows quickly when the right person is there. You're a social person who likes the pace and doesn't stress when things move fast. You think evenings and weekends are prime time. The practical details: Scope: minimum 4 weekend evenings/month, approximately 20 hours – more if you want Hours: evenings and nights, primarily Fridays and Saturdays Salary: from 161 kr/h + overtime, commission, holiday pay, pension contributions Collective agreement via HRF, affiliated with Visita. Age requirement: 18 years old This is one of the few jobs where who you are as a person actually matters, not what's on your CV. Send your application now and I hope to see you soon!
