WORK TASKS As a social secretary in the reception group, you will conduct the initial assessment (protection and preliminary assessment) regarding children and young people according to the Social Services Act and the Care of Children and Young Persons Act. You will provide advice, support and guidance on questions, applications and reports. The work involves collaboration between all groups within IFO and other authorities. Other work tasks within IFO may also occur, such as driver's license statements, acute interventions within the ViNR area, etc. QUALIFICATIONS The position requires a social work degree or higher education that meets the National Board of Health and Welfare's regulations (SOSFS 2014:7) on qualifications to perform certain tasks in social services child and youth care. JOB DUTIES The work includes meetings with children, young people, and families, where documentation is an important part. We investigate cases in accordance with the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons Act, and we work according to the Child's Needs in Focus (BBIC) method. You will also collaborate between other teams within IFO-MyA, other authorities, and organizations. The work also includes some preventive work. Travel is part of the job. In the Children and Family Team, there is currently scheduled time for reflection and environmental awareness.
