About the Role As a Snowmobile Guide, you'll be responsible for creating safe, memorable, and enjoyable experiences for our guests while exploring the Arctic wilderness. Nature Guide in Kiruna
Looking for a seasonal job in nature? Perfect! We're also seeking guides for winter who can work at our facility, 10 kilometers from the nearest road in Kiruna's fantastic wilderness. Together with our guests, we ride snowmobiles to our off-grid camp in a stunningly beautiful location, right next to a section of the Torneälven River that never freezes. We cross the river by inflatable boat, and at our destination you'll find a Sami turf hut, wood-heated cabins, a sauna, and a grill hut. On clear winter evenings, there's a great chance to experience millions of stars and the Northern Lights – it's a workplace you'll never forget. Your responsibilities at camp will include: Welcoming guests from all over the world Showing and instructing everything from wood chopping to snowmobile tours, skiing, ice fishing, and ice bathing (you don't need to participate in all activities) Serving meals made with local ingredients Telling fascinating stories about Lapland past and present – and creating a wonderful atmosphere for people experiencing something they've long dreamed about Maintaining cabins and cleaning Our typical guests are adventurous 20-30 year-olds with amazing energy. They're engaged and love conversation with you and your colleagues. We guide both large and small groups, and the intensity varies from day to day. Together with the team, you'll be an important part of the experience. You share the guests' expectations, create memories, and are a big reason they enjoy their time with us and talk about us. Working closely together during an intense season in nature has not only created strong teams – many have also found lifelong friendships. Who are we? Our company is called Taube Activity and was one of the first nature guide companies established in northern Sweden, back in 1978. We're a small company with just a few employees, which creates a genuine and special atmosphere with lots of opportunities and personal connection – both for employees and guests.
