Your Tasks As a lift operator, you play an important role at the ski resort. You teach and help our guests to use the lifts and serve as the face of Kungsberget. Therefore, it is important that you are a good ambassador, can answer guests' questions, and provide fun and helpful tips. Being social and enjoying meeting new people is essential. When the day ends and the lifts close, you are responsible for taking down the nets and preparing the area around the lift for the next day's opening. We always work outdoors. Selection of Work Tasks: Staff our lifts with a positive and welcoming attitude. Teach and help inexperienced guests to use the lifts. Maintain the area around the lift entrances and exits (keep it clean, neat, and functional). The position includes weekend work every other week and evening work may occur. Your Tasks As a supervisor for our lift operators, you hold a central role, as lift operators are often guests' first meeting with our staff. This makes the department a face of Kungsberget to the outside world. It is therefore crucial that you have a clear understanding of what good service means and can coach your employees in the right direction. Inspiring and training employees is one of your primary tasks. Selected Responsibilities: Planning, follow-up, and development of operations and its goals. Inspire, engage, develop, and train employees in the department. Plan and conduct training as well as inform about procedures and working methods in the lift department. Ensure that daily operations function according to established goals regarding procedures, workflows, efficiency, and service. Some scheduling of lift staff. The position includes weekend work every other week and evening shifts occur.
