Kitchen Assistant needed for the winter season at Hotel Slottsvillan The winter season is approaching and we are now looking for a kitchen assistant who wants to be part of our team at Hotel Slottsvillan in Huskvarna. Our popular Christmas smorgasbords run between November 22 and December 22, and we would like you to have the opportunity to start earlier so you can settle into the work and learn our routines before the season begins. We are primarily looking for someone who lives in the Huskvarna/Jönköping area. For those seeking work only during the Christmas smorgasbord season itself, accommodation is available between November 22 and December 22. For the right person, there is also the possibility of continuing work on a part-time basis both before and after the Christmas smorgasbord season. About the job As a kitchen assistant, you are an important part of the team and help with all the practical tasks required for the kitchen and our Christmas smorgasbords to run smoothly. Duties vary and may include: Prepare raw materials – peel, chop, cut and portion Simple food preparation and cooking Dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen and work surfaces Receive and assist with deliveries Stock, organize and rotate goods Clear away and prepare for the next work day Empty trash and glass Change tablecloths and keep the buffet areas clean and tidy Assist with setting up and clearing Cleaning of kitchen, dining rooms and other facilities We work according to clear checklists. There are many tasks, but the routines are largely the same every day and of course you will learn them on site. Who are we looking for? We are looking for someone who is hardworking, thorough and not afraid to pitch in where needed. During the Christmas smorgasbord season, the pace is sometimes high and the work is physically demanding. You need to be able to lift and carry heavy items and be comfortable moving around a lot during a work shift. The hotel also has many stairs and no elevator. Previous experience in a kitchen, dishwashing, restaurant or cleaning is a great plus, but the right attitude and work ethic are equally important. You need to be able to communicate in Swedish and/or English in order to understand instructions and collaborate with the rest of the team. Working hours and employment Working hours vary and include days, evenings and weekends. We are open Monday–Sunday during the season. Warehouse & Distribution Coordinator
Our Aftermarket operations ensure that spare parts and accessories reach customers with the right quality and at the right time. The Warehouse & Distribution Coordinator plays an important role in this flow, connecting warehousing, transportation, sales, sourcing and external logistics partners. The position focuses on reliable deliveries, efficient distribution and continuous process improvement. You will work with third-party logistics providers in Sweden and contribute to developing an effective end-to-end distribution chain that responds to both business requirements and customer needs. About the role As Warehouse & Distribution Coordinator, you will be responsible for the aftermarket delivery of spare parts and accessories from warehouse to customer. You will have direct responsibility for our third-party logistics warehouses for Parts & Accessories in Stigamo and Norrköping, as well as indirect responsibility for other warehouses and transportation solutions used within aftermarket. Your main responsibilities will include: Managing and developing the operational collaboration with our 3PL partners Following up delivery performance, service levels, costs and corrective actions Analyzing and improving the end-to-end distribution chain through standardization and process development Ensuring high delivery quality, supporting On-Time-In-Full reporting and minimizing customer claims Collaborating with sales and indirect sourcing to meet market needs and support commercial requirements This is a fixed-term position until 31 December 2027, with the possibility of extension depending on business needs. About you We are looking for someone who has: A couple of years of experience within supply chain A university degree in engineering, or equivalent relevant experience Fluency in Swedish and English, both written and spoken Experience from warehouse and distribution operations is considered a plus To succeed in this role, you are analytical, structured and comfortable working with data to identify areas for improvement. You take ownership of your responsibilities and have the ability to turn insights into practical actions. As the role includes collaboration with several internal and external stakeholders, you are communicative and relationship-oriented, while also being able to challenge existing ways of working in a constructive manner. You have a customer-focused mindset and enjoy driving continuous improvement in a dynamic supply chain environment. Location and work setup Huskvarna, Sweden.
