As a Work Leader in EL/Automation Maintenance in Garpenberg, you will have a key role in leading and developing a committed team. Your Role
As a Work Leader in EL/Automation, you are responsible for leading, planning, and developing work within the electrical engineering part of the maintenance operation. You work closely with your team on a daily basis and ensure that work is carried out in a safe, efficient, and structured manner.
The role combines operational presence with a long-term perspective where you contribute to the development of working methods, structure, and preventive maintenance. You have an important responsibility for electrical safety and the work environment, and you collaborate with operations, projects, and external partners.
Your Team
You lead a committed team of 11 people with expertise in electrical, automation, construction, and electrical instrumentation. The group has strong professional knowledge and high commitment.

Your Responsibilities
Lead and allocate daily work within electrical, instrumentation, and automation maintenance
Lead EL engineers and automation engineers in their assignments
Ensure a safe and secure work environment, including electrical safety
Plan resources and contribute to budget and follow-up work
Drive improvement work and develop preventive maintenance
Coordinate work in the electrical workshop
Coordinate work with operations, projects, and external suppliers
Provide operational support and serve as a sounding board for the team
Your Contribution

We are looking for you who have:
High school diploma, preferably with a focus on electrical engineering
Education in electrical engineering (or equivalent experience)
Experience working within electrical and/or automation
Experience leading others, for example as a work leader, team leader, or in a coordinating role
Basic understanding of control systems
Very good skills in Swedish and the ability to read and understand technical information in English
Class B driver's license
It is meritorious if you have:
Experience in a formal management role
Experience in improvement or change work
Experience with maintenance systems
Knowledge of systems such as ABB, MAxiom, or Sitebase
